SPRAY TANNING

Many people feel and look healthier when they have a tan.  Spray tanning provides a rich, golden tan without the danger of UV damage from the sun or sun beds.

Here at Sarah McIntyre, we have just launched the Sienna x spray tan. This tan has fast become the choice for many stars, and currently seen on Channel 4’s “How to Look Good Naked”, and BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing, plus the luxurious Urban Retreat Spa at Harrods has appointed Sienna x their exclusive tanning product!

We can create the perfect shade just for you, depending on your skin colour, and the look you want.

1. 8% Light. Ideal for fair skin types, perfect for weddings.
2. 10% Medium. For a more olive skin type, great for that holiday look.
3. 12% Dark. For those clients who have a darker skin type, or who want the deepest, darkest, bronzed look.

Sienna x is made of natural ingredients, including coco butter, coconut oil, avocado, organic rose-hip, and shea butter to moisturise and nourish your skin.  The solutions also contain anti-oxidants and  vitamins A & E to protect against the signs of aging.

Voted the best self tanner in the New York Times, this tan contains 37% more tanning ingredients than any other self tan. FakeBake contains two main ingredients, a unique tanning agent derived from sugar beet, which works by “tanning” the melanin cells, the higher your levels of melanin you have, the darker the tan, and a guide colour to aid application. FakeBake contains no harsh preservatives, only natural ingredients.

PREPARATION
Clients should exfoliate thoroughly either the day before, or on the day of tanning. Avoid moisturising, as creams act as a barrier. No waxing or shaving on the day of the tan. No deodorant or perfume. Clothing – wear loose, dark clothing.  Disposable thongs are available, or clients can wear their own underwear.

DEVELOPING THE TAN
The tan takes 6-8 hours to develop. Avoid bathing, showering, swimming and exercise, for 6 hours.

MAINTAINING THE TAN
With regular moisturising, the tan will last between 6-10 days.
